With over six years of experience in therapeutic practice, Anju has worked across clinical, community, and rehabilitation settings. An expert in psychological diagnostics, behavioural assessment, trauma care, and individualised treatment planning, she is a veteran in supporting clients of all ages, helping them navigate challenges related to emotional distress, behavioural disorders, and psychological trauma.
Anju’s doctoral research, titled “Systemic Analysis of Psychological Matters Associated with Depression and Adjustment Problems in the Transgender Community in Cochin,” reflects a deep commitment to serving the marginalised and vulnerable populations, and it highlights the complex interplay between social identity, emotional trauma, and mental wellness.
Throughout her career, she has developed therapeutic frameworks, conducted diagnostic assessments, and facilitated client progress through both structured interventions and compassionate presence. Her clients value her calm demeanour, empathetic listening, and unwavering support as they move toward healing and personal growth.
Alphina Alfred
M.A. Psychology, B.Pharm
Alphina brings a rare combination of psychological insight and medical knowledge to the Mindwello team. Before taking up the counsellor’s role, she was a registered pharmacist, which helped her understand both the emotional and physiological aspects of wellness.
With over seven years of experience in counselling, Alphina has worked in both educational and clinical environments, providing therapy for adolescents, young adults, and individuals facing challenges in emotional, behavioural, or social adjustment. Her strengths include addiction counselling, psychometric testing, academic stress support, and emotional regulation strategies.
Alphina is known for her warm presence, strong emotional intelligence, and dedication to client care. She currently serves as a school counsellor, where she advocates for early intervention and mental health education among youth.
